FENCEX 2020 is set to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor.
FENCEX 2018 was described as ‘one of the best’ by exhibitors with just under 400 trade delegates coming through the door for the one day show.
Exhibitors reported ‘a good level of enquiries’ with many making significant headway in winning major contracts. More than 85 per cent of stands have already been booked for Fencex 2020 being held in October.
‘Fencex 2020 is beginning to take shape and we have been overwhelmed by bookings and the level of enquiries,’ said Ian Law, organiser and editor of Perimeter Systems magazine. ‘The most important aspect is that this is a show that brings various sectors together and happens just once every two years, so it has become an important part of the industry calendar.’
There were 50 stands in the Warwick Hall at the NAEC centre in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire where the exhibition has been staged since 2002.
‘At the last show there were 39 companies exhibiting and we had a waiting list,’ said Law. ‘We attracted a number of major Europeans, as well as one from America and now we have Chinese interest for 2020. The stature of the show has increased over the years and it now ranks as a ‘must’ for UK and European companies wanting to make their mark here.’
Numbers through the door isn 2018 amounted to 392 and the show reflected a ‘positivity and optimism’ for the future with many companies using Fencex to show new products.
