FenceX 2025 – The Biggest and Best Yet!

The UK fencing industry came together in record numbers for FenceX 2025, held at NAEC Stoneleigh on 15th October, for what proved to be the largest and most successful FenceX to date.

With record numbers of visitors and more than 80 exhibitors from across the sector, this year’s event delivered a full day of live demonstrations, technical insight, innovation, and collaboration.

From the moment the doors opened, the exhibition halls and outdoor demonstration areas were buzzing with energy as contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, and specifiers explored the very best of what the fencing industry has to offer.

Live Demonstrations & Destruction Testing

The destruction testing schedule – the largest ever seen at a UK fencing event – was a major draw, with visitors crowding around the test zone throughout the day to see products from Barkers, Zaun, CLD, IAE, Alexandra, Henry Squire & Son, and First Fence put through their paces.

Alongside that, the Gate Automation Zone, run in partnership with the Door & Hardware Federation (DHF) and First Fence, offered valuable insight into safety, compliance, and installation best practice for the ever-growing automation market.

Best Practice in Action

Outside, the AFI & AFA Best Practice Day proved to be another highlight. Following the sell-out spring event at Harper Adams, this second 2025 session, led by respected professionals and experienced contractors, featured live demonstrations of timber and metal fencing techniques, netting systems, and practical solutions to on-site challenges.

Knowledge, Networking & Industry Insight

FenceX 2025’s seminar programme drew capacity audiences throughout the day, with sessions covering apprenticeships, standards, training, business growth, and safety. Each talk provided practical takeaways and sparked valuable discussion on the future of the industry.

Meanwhile, on the exhibition floor, over 80 companies showcased the latest fencing products, technology, and innovation — reinforcing FenceX’s position as the go-to event for the UK fencing community.

Bacon Rolls, Big Prizes, and Stand Awards

Hundreds of visitors started their day with a complimentary breakfast roll courtesy of Fencing Times, while one lucky attendee will soon be enjoying a weekend for two in Ghent, courtesy of Locinox, including travel, hotel accommodation, and a private factory tour.

New for this year were the FenceX Stand Awards, recognising excellence and creativity among exhibitors.
